Ironic that these floods happen very close to the World Climate conference and it takes no real action on climate change whilst the results are under the noses of the politicians.

Yea, I get this uneasy feeling when I see other Humans in pain and helpless, I saved someone from drowning once, I held onto them until the coast guard got there, a problem arose where they couldn’t get the victim on their boat (back board issue) but, we were able to get him into my boat, and I took a short cut that only I know through the shallow tidal “Flats” to a waiting ambulance, saving much time, the Coast Guard aux. called me up and said that they could use a guy like me, so here I am in the world where I belong, totally by accident.

one would readily feel and think when the right instituition is in mind. you acn easily identify with the charism of the said group and you may feel the connection.

If not, this would be a good time to volunteer with such organizations. See what it takes to hold a successful fundraiser, through volunteering to support such activities. Then, once you are ready to start a nonprofit organization, you will have references and credibility that will be attractive to potential supporters.

Before you file any paperwork, you need to get letters of endorsement from existing organizations saying this program is needed (including organizations in the developing world where you intend the funds you raise to go), you need to have data that shows your target group is in need whatever service it is that you want to provide and that they are not served otherwise, and you need to have a draft of what your first year’s budget would look like (what expenses you expect to incur, what you expect to pay staff, etc.).

This is a just the question i have been wanting to ask, but wasn’t sure i could on YA. Thanks for asking!!! If my dream comes true to helping sick people, it sure wouldn’t be for FAME. I keep to myself. I wouldn’t want to be under a spotlight. Far from it. If we can get to the place where my husband can get the treatment, we want to help others with the same condition. There are some people who are genuine!!!!!!!

Oxfam will use them to make money for charity….just drop the clothes off into your local Oxfam shop, and they’ll do the rest! :)
